Comic - Light

Light is a comic done within a very short period of time(1 day). It was actually a re-submission of my Final Assignment for my Graphic Story-telling module. Nevertheless, it is the comic I like most. The color was added later during my free time.

Comic - Topic Y

Topic Y is a exaggerated feeling I had while I was giving my first presentation in Uni. When I walked to the front of the class, I really had this feeling of going up a roller coaster. The moment I open my mouth, I could feel my world spinning.

Comic - My Drawings

My Drawings is actually an idea I had when I was a little boy. I always felt that by drawing, I can create anything I want. This could be the reason why I fell in love with drawing at a young age. But it is during my studies, I came to know how drawing can be a form of therapy, but at times, it can bring out a deeper side of you. A side that might not be known to ourself, our subconscious mind. It is through this comic, I had an opportunity to explore deeper into this idea, and express my view towards this idea. In this comic, the 'design' of the monster is my attempt to use a form of meditative drawing methodology that I read from the book: Spirit of Drawing: A Sensory Meditation Guide to Creative Expression by Connie Smith Siegel.

Comic - Making Pastry

Baking Pastry was done using poster color and later editted on photoshop. The objective of the comic was to show a reminiscence. My idea for this comic was to use the senses of smell to bring out memories. A simple plot showing the relationship between a mother, a child and a curry puff.
